In looking ahead to the new year, Kolter Homes anticipates settling waters across the Southeast real estate market where the company operates. In the Atlanta market specifically, the new home builder will be launching two new active adult communities as it successfully sell-outs another and further develops the best-selling community in all of Georgia.

“While there are still some supply chain issues, challenges with labor, and inflation concerns,” said Tony Adams, Regional Vice President, Kolter Homes, “the active adult homebuyer has perspective and experience to comfortably achieve what they want. We see that evidenced in the fact that Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes is not only the top-selling active adult community in Georgia but the top-selling new home community overall.”

“The homebuyers considering an active adult community like a Cresswind want an experience. They have raised their children, saved money, and now it’s their turn to enjoy Disneyland. Our Cresswind product is essentially Disneyland for adults,” comments Adams. “These buyers want to reconnect and create relationships in facilities and homes designed for the way they want to live with programs that facilitate connections via activities and lifestyle.”

Here’s an overview of the active adult market and Kolter Homes communities in the Atlanta area:

Award-winning Cresswind Peachtree City is closing out its final two move-in-ready homes. Its fantastic location has been one of the community’s major selling points as the only active adult community in Peachtree City.

It has also previously been honored as the 55+ Community of the Year by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, in addition to winning Lifestyle Program of the Year at the 2020 Best of 55+ Housing Awards.

Several new outdoor amenities will also open, including a resort-inspired pool, event lawn, walking trails, bandshell and dock area for residents to access fishing, kayaking and canoeing on one of the community’s two lakes. The final phase of the pickleball courts, adding another 18 courts for a total of 41 courts, is slated for 2025.

One of the two new age-restricted communities Kolter Homes is opening in the Atlanta area in 2023 is Oak Hill Reserve in Newnan.
