On October 18, the Atlanta 50+ Housing Council will be hosting there second annual 50+ University Day at the Crowne Plaza Rivinia Hotel. Jim Chapman Communities is among the industry leaders that will be participating in this event.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. for guests and pre-registration is currently available online. Educational sessions will be offered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and have been approved for up to six Builder License Credits and three GREC Continuing Education Credits for certain sessions. Among the great topics this year are some interesting ones, such as “Design Trends: The Multigenerational Builder & Buyer” and “Marketing to the 50+ Buyer.” After these and other topics are presented throughout the day, attendees can enjoy cocktails and networking until 6 p.m.
Kelly Dempsey, vice president of sales and marketing at Jim Chapman Communities, will be announced as the council’s 2013 president at the event.
