The newly designed course at Riverside Country Club in Lanett, Ala. is open for play! Dedicated players and recreational duffers can now play 18 challenging but fun holes right in the Greater Valley Area. After being completely redesigned, Riverside Country Club reopened in early April and was an instant hit amongst members and guests alike.

What was done to the course?

The existing nine holes were completely renovated, redesigned and replanted while players enjoyed the new nine, which wind through the large, scenic lots of Riverside Estates, a new Greater Valley Group community featuring luxury homes starting in the high $200’s.

The new course was concepted and designed by Ken Ezell of CEC Golf Design Group (Deland, Fla.). His vision was to create an exquisite golf course community. Riverside Estates features 141 wooded lots with stunning and serene views. These Greater Valley Homes are located in the Chambers County school district, close to I-85, making travel to any destination easy and convenient.

Riverside Estates is the perfect new home community to retire to. Charming southern architecture combined with modern amenities make this community ideal. It’s easy to imagine spending the evening on your front porch with an ice tea waving at the neighbors as they walk down the street. The community is located just minutes from the new Kia Georgia plant, which gives residents the opportunity to be close to major cities such as Atlanta or Birmingham without the hustle and bustle of city life.

With West Point Lake only a few miles away, spring and summer offer nearly endless recreational opportunities. Visit Chambers County and play the new 18-holes at Riverside Country Club, and plan some time to enjoy fishing, boating and swimming at West Point Lake.
