Kolter Homes is excited to share its latest achievements from the 38th Annual MAME Awards, hosted by the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte. The awards event, taking place at the Hyatt Centric in Southpark, honored outstanding sales, marketing, and design efforts in the home building sector.

“These awards represent Kolter Homes’ unwavering dedication to excellence and our passion for developing communities that provide an exceptional living experience for our active adult residents,” stated Michael McLendon, Regional Vice President of Kolter Homes. “We are ecstatic to accept these honors on behalf of our Cresswind Charlotte and Cresswind Wesley Chapel communities, and we are proud of our team members’ individual achievements. We look forward to continuing our legacy of delivering remarkable homes and nurturing vibrant communities.”

Cresswind communities earned multiple MAME Awards, showcasing their team’s exceptional service and quality. The accolades include:

Cresswind Wesley Chapel – Paige Model

The 2,471 square foot Paige model boasts one of Cresswind’s most sought-after floor plans due to its adaptability, welcoming gathering areas, three-car garage, and private, thoughtfully positioned bedrooms. The spacious owner’s suite features a tray ceiling, dual-sink vanity, and a roomy walk-in closet. The centrally located island kitchen connects to the dining and great room, providing abundant storage, a walk-in pantry, and casual dining at the breakfast bar.

Cresswind Charlotte Community of the Year

Cresswind Charlotte received the Active Adult Community of the Year award for its comprehensive neighborhood design, distinctive design elements, execution, and innovation. This 55+ community, situated on 370 wooded acres, blends resort-style amenities and activities just 25 minutes away from Uptown Charlotte. The neighborhood offers miles of walking trails, a 17,000-square-foot clubhouse with a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, pickleball, bocce, and a full-time activities director to organize fitness programs and clubs.

Cresswind Charlotte Construction Manager of the Year – Stephanie Correll

Stephanie Correll, a nine-year industry veteran and esteemed member of the Kolter Homes Construction team, finds the most gratifying aspect of her job to be handing over the completed home to the buyer and witnessing their happiness. “Each home build, whether it’s the first or the 100th, holds equal importance,” Correll adds.

Top Salesperson – Frankie Franklin

Donna “Frankie” Franklin has achieved Top New Home Salesperson of the Year honors from the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte for the fourth consecutive year. With 34 years of experience, Frankie tailors marketing and selling strategies to clients’ housing requirements and financial options, including reverse mortgages, universal design, and pension or IRA utilization in real estate transactions. As an SRES® certified senior specialist, she addresses the financial and emotional challenges seniors face when selling long-held family homes.

“The MAME Awards celebrate the industry’s finest. Each year, they culminate by acknowledging remarkable accomplishments in market excellence within the home building sector. We are beyond thrilled with these awards,” McLendon commented.
