You’ll feel like you’ve just scored the game-winning run after attending a fun event one of The Orchards Group’s active adult communities. Their most recent grand slam event was a baseball meet and greet held at East Cherokee and Brannon Oak Farm.
Both The Orchards of East Cherokee and The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm hosted a well attended baseball meet and greet during April. Residents were able to cheer on their favorite team while watching live games, mingling with other residents and enjoying their favorite ballpark foods. East Cherokee residents also enjoyed showing off their baseball expertise with trivia about Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron and other baseball greats.
“Talking to some of our neighbors who recalled some of their favorite childhood baseball heroes made the events even more fun and interesting,” said the Orchard’s social director, Stacy Wheelus.
