Park Springs, the leading continuing care retirement community in the Southeast announced their plan to extend their personal in-home care services to residents in Cobb, DeKalb, Forsyth, Fulton and Gwinnett Counties.
The service, which was previously only offered to Members of Park Springs, provides much more then basic nursing care. It is designed to enhance the customer’s health and quality of life by helping patients recover and maintain independence in their own homes rather then in a care facility.
The Park Springs in-home care program includes services such as medication management, medication reminders, escort to appointments and errands, companionship, prescription pick-up, meal pickup meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Park Spring’s also has certified Nurse Aids who are able to provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, cognitive impairment, mobility and memory stimulation. All of the Nurse Aids are CPR certified, are licensed, bonded, have undergone criminal background checks and undergo a continuous training program.
In addition to the personal and home services, staff members can also help determine if their services will be covered by health insurance, handle verification of claims, provide necessary documentation and can file a claim for an individual.
