Residents of Brookhaven of East Cobb, an active adult community, recently had their fifteen minutes of fame when a crew from the film The Internship shot a few scenes within the community. Film crews set up several shots around the Brookhaven location and even asked some of the community’s residents to be extras in the scenes.
Lured to the community by its obvious charms, the crew had a beautiful setting of gated, landscaped surroundings with all brick and stone condominiums to choose from. Priced in the $240,000s and featuring two and three spacious bedrooms with award-winning floor plans, it is easy to see why these homes are so desirable by residents and film crews alike.
The wonderful amenities at Brookhaven of East Cobb were no doubt another reason why the film crew chose this as a location to film. This community features a National Association of Homebuilders’ award-winning clubhouse with exercise room and kitchen, a relaxing heated pool and a charming outdoor fireplace.
Located conveniently near Town Center Mall, Marietta, downtown Atlanta, and more, Brookhaven has easy access to many places a homeowner or film crew may need to go.
Residents from Brookhaven of East Cobb, who are in their 50s, were happy to be included in The Internship. This film features Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as laid-off middle-aged men who decide to try to become successful interns at a prestigious internet company. Among much hi-jinks, the comedy-duo is forced to report to managers half their age, creating a funny and entertaining film.
Make sure to see The Internship in a theater near you when it premieres in the summer of 2013. Come see why the beautiful community Brookhaven of East Cobb was chosen as a film location by taking a tour today!
