Jim Chapman Communities (JCC) is known for its resort-style amenities, beautiful easy-living home designs and planned activities for residents of its luxury active adult communities across metro Atlanta.
A program JCC has just reinstated is the JCC Travel Club. This club offers discounted, all-inclusive group outings including local day trips, longer vacations to international destinations and cruises. These excursions are not only open to all JCC residents. JCC encourages members to bring along friends, family and prospective homeowners.
This Thursday, members of the JCC Travel Club will go to McMinnville, Tenn. for a night of murder, mystery and a great meal. They will attend “Murder at the Mansion,” an interactive who-dun-it dinner theatre show. Each attendee will play the part of a real-life character from 1897 Tennessee and at the end of the night will help Buffalo Bill Cody catch the murderer.
On June 29th, the members will head to North Georgia to visit the Kangaroo Conservation Center and then make then short drive to Amicalola State Park for some sightseeing and lunch. After such a busy afternoon, the group will head to the North Georgia Premium Outlets for some shopping.
Listed are some bigger trips are planned for 2009.
- A nine-day tour of national parks including Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone and Black Hills.
- A Vintage Trains of the Great Southwest nine-day tour.
- A Taste of Ireland 10-day, all-inclusive trip.
- A tour through California’s wine country.
Members of Jim Chapman Communities certainly do not miss out on the world outside them. Despite offering resort-style homes, JCC still thinks it is very important for its members to stay involved with the outside world.
